Thanksgiving Day Visit

Nancy and I had a nice visit on Thanksgiving with our close friend and Former State Chaplain Father Holland at Our Lady of Providence House in Winooski.

We started with morning Mass. When they wheeled in a very sleepy Father Holland and I tapped him on the arm, he immediately responded, "Oh, Hi Tom, How's Nancy?" (He couldn't see her behind me.)

By lunch time he was fully awake and ate a full turkey dinner. As you can see from the pictures we had a fun time.

While there we took the opportunity to present Sister Lorraine with two of our Supreme Knight's books.

We also visited with Sister Noel who is in charge of Providence House and was visiting from the Mother House in Montreal. She asked, since we see him more often than she (hint hint), that we say hello to her brother Moe Noel.

Last but not least we visited with Sister Hebert and Sister Lavallee whom Nancy worked with for 25 years in the Fanny Allen Pacu.

While we were there the chef Tom Dubie told me that his grandfather was a knight and he still has his sword. I suggested that if he joined the knights he could put that sword to good use. He said he would love to. Form 100 on it's way.
